FED: Optus workers concerned about job security union

SYDNEY, Jan 18 AAP - The long-term job security of more than 6,000 Optus workers nationwide
remains uncertain amid continued speculation about a likely takeover of the company, a
union said today.

The Communications, Electrical and Plumbing Union (CEPU) said it was concerned there
could be massive jobs losses from Optus if rival telecommunications company Vodafone wins
the bid.
