QLD: Senna suit and other sports memorabilia stolen
A Formula One racing driver's suit once worn by the late AYRTON SENNA has been stolen in a
Gold Coast robbery.
Police say a Formula One steering wheel in a display case was also stolen, as were a red
racing driver's suit, driver's gloves and a black Bell driver's helmet.
The thieves also took jewellery, alcohol and cameras from the premises in Southport
sometime between 10.30pm Saturday and 4pm yesterday.
The black AYRTON SENNA suit had the late driver's name embroidered across the front.
Police say the racing memorabilia had been collected by a keen Formula One fan who does not
wish to be identified.
Anyone approached to buy the items should contact police immediately.
